I think I’ve decided to buy a Kindle 3G. Amazon offers a deal where you can buy one for $50 cheaper if you don’t mind sponsored screensavers and the occasional non-reading interrupting ad. You will in turn, receive special deals such as pay $10 for a $20 gift card or receive a gift card for certain amounts spent by opting for the ad riddled version.
I will be save a lot of money on literature heavy classes. Also, it is convenient for the reason that I have such little space to store the books I would love to own. About half the reviews I read said the ads become a bit annoying but I think I can handle them especially since the reviews say the Kindle’s web browsing capabilities are quite good.
The funny thing though is the fact that I am taking Book Structures and will be supporting the existence of the physical book while also promoting its downfall.
